Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using FaithStream ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Nature of Service

FaithStream is a curated music streaming platform dedicated to Telugu Christian music. During our "Beta" phase, the Service is operated as an individual project focused on community worship and support for local artists.

3. Curated Content & Artist Rights

We take intellectual property seriously. Our service model includes:

• Manual Review: Every artist profile and song is manually checked and verified by our team before being made public.
• Personal Onboarding: We work directly with artists to ensure they have the right to share their music on our platform.
• Copyright Ownership: All rights to the music remain with the original creators/artists. FaithStream is granted a non-exclusive license to stream the music to our users.

4. Content Rights, Copyright & DMCA Policy

FaithStream is a User Generated Content (UGC) platform. Every artist who uploads music is required to explicitly confirm at the time of upload that:

• They are the original creator of the content, or have been granted all necessary rights and licenses to upload and distribute it on FaithStream.
• The content does not infringe upon the copyright, trademark, or any other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• They grant FaithStream a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to stream the music to users on the platform.

Repeat Infringer Policy: FaithStream will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. A user who accumulates two or more valid DMCA takedown notices will be permanently banned from the platform.

Takedown Requests: If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded to FaithStream without your authorization, you may submit a formal DMCA Takedown Notice. Please visit our full Copyright & DMCA Policy page for complete instructions, including what information must be included in your notice and our counter-notice process.

All copyright-related notices must be sent to: copyright@sotersystems.in. We respond to all valid notices within 48 business hours.

5. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. Premium features are subject to active subscription status.

6. Account Deletion and Artist Royalties

Users may request account deletion at any time. For general listeners, personal data is anonymized upon deletion. For Approved Artists, specific legal and financial rules apply:

• Manual Deletion: Artist accounts must be closed manually via our Support team to ensure financial records are settled.
• Minimum Payout Threshold: Artists must withdraw any pending revenue above our minimum payout threshold prior to account deletion. Any remaining balance below the threshold at the time of deletion is permanently forfeited.
• Post-Deletion Royalties: If an artist chooses to delete their account without first submitting a formal takedown request for their uploaded content, their content will remain available on the FaithStream platform to preserve listener libraries. By doing so, the artist explicitly waives and forfeits their right to collect any past, present, or future royalties generated by that content. Those royalties will be retained by FaithStream.

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not attempt to reverse engineer the app, "rip" or download audio files outside of the official offline mode, or use the service for any illegal purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. As an early-stage project, we do not guarantee 100% uptime or error-free operation.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
